Entity Association Graph

This tool provides a graphic view of the associations between entities by mining the co-occurrences of entities in search queries or search sessions. Such associations will be useful when creating query suggestions or analyzing user search patterns. To view the entities association graph, type a keyword.
Examples: Car, BMW, Flower.

Each node in the association graph represents an entity, while each link represents the relationship between two entities. The number in each node represents the frequency of the entity name in the sample search log data.

Hops: From one entity to another entity is a Hop.
Show Links: How many links will be shown for an entity?
Edge types: Co-occurrence and MI (point-wise mutual information)
Edge Strength: The number between two nodes indicates how closely they are related. Edges with strength greater than the specified number are displayed.
Data set types: For the options "within queries" and "within session" entity names association is computed within search queries and within search session, respectively.

Please note that when too many nodes (>50) are expanded, the Internet Explorer can be slow or unresponsive. If you need more information about this tool or have any suggestions to share, please contact us.
